When you are old and grey and full of sleep, And nodding by the fire, take down this book And slowly read,  and dream of the soft look Your eyes had once,and of their shadows deep;	그대 늙어서 머리 희어지고 잠에 겨울 때, 난로 가에서 졸게 되거든 이 책을 꺼내어 천천히 읽으라, 그리고 부드러운 눈매를 꿈꾸라 그대의 눈이 한때 지녔던깊은그늘까지도
How many loved your moments of glad grace And loved your beauty with love false or true, But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you, And loved the sorrows of your changing face;	얼마나 많은 이들이 그대 기쁨의 우아한 순간들을 사랑했는지 그리고 거짓이든 진실이든 그대의 아름다움을 사랑했는지 그러나 한 남자는 그대의 순례하는 혼을 사랑하였고, 그대의 변해가는 얼굴의 슬픔까지도 사랑했는지
And blending down beside the glowing bars Murmur, a little sadly, how love fled And paced upon the mountains overhead And hide his face amid a crowd of stars.	붉게 타는 난롯가에 구부리고 앉아 슬픈 어조로 중얼거려보라, 어떻게 사랑이 저편 산 너머로 걸음을 옮겼는지 그리고 수많은 별무리 속에 그 얼굴을 감추었는지를.
